Blue Lagoon View Point ( KRS Dam Backwaters ) Perfect Location for one day Trip from Bangalore

It was Sunday morning 4 a.m.

I woke up to a message that was sent on my WhatsApp group by one of the bikers for this trip that we were going to do,

We were going to Blue Lagoon View Point Near KRS Dam

Distance was 147kms from Bangalore

it was around 5 a.m. in the morning when I left home to join the other bikers and the our meeting point was near Kengeri nice road junction on Mysore road.

We were six bikers this time

Shafiq: Pulsar 220f

Manjunath: Dominor 400

Sameer: Pulsar 150dtsi

Amrit: Hero Xpulse

Manender: Tvs RR 310

and

Prince: KTM RC 390

We started the ride around 5:30 a.m. and traffic was very less on Mysore road at that time so we were able to do good speeds till Maddur,

and after reaching Maddur we were supposed to stop at a hotel for breakfast but unfortunately I couldn't see other bikers stopping near the hotel, so I continued riding ahead and I reached Mandya which is around 15 to 20 km ahead of maddur,

After joining with the group we went to have breakfast in Mandya and we went to a pure veg hotel and had nice idli, dosa and Kesari baath then we proceeded towards srirangapatna and after reaching srirangapatna we had to take a right deviation towards KRS dam and from here the location is around 40 kilometres away

Here when I tried to switch on the action camera it was showing some kind of error which I thought was a minor issue but it turned out to be a big problem with the memory card as well as the firmware of the action camera and unfortunately i could not record anything ☹️

But thankfully sameer was recording the journey with his mobile attached to his helmet and later he provided me the footage which u will see in my youtube channel video.

Anyway after starting the ride again we reached KRS dam backwaters which to be honest I never expected it to be so big,

it was as if we are standing near an Ocean because wherever you could see there was nothing except water and,

it was amazing because we had reached early so the climate was calm and cold and there was no one around and we bikers had a good time,

After spending around 1 hour here we decided to visit a small canal of backwaters of KRS dam and then when we reached the spot which is around 15 km from the blue lagoon it was amazing and we decided to swim here
